The docs and the config files differ a bit on this.

It's mentioned in the section "ESMTP over TLS/SSL".
I ran grep -r TLS_PEERCERTDIR /etc/courier /usr/share/courier (I used
screen to copy the value from the docs exactly).
I don't get any results from grep.
Where does this value go?
Thanks,

Hello,
I've been following the imap man page (this is a fresh install), and I
su'ed into my test account and netcat to 127.0.0.1 143. I then entered:
C: login test 1234
S: login NO Error in IMAP command received by server.
Now, there may be no error, but it sure is strange to get that message
Hello,
I wanted to know if courier could read the subject/from metadata so that
it could place courier mailing list mail into one folder and so on with
other mail received.
I'm talking about doing this after the part where courier figures out

Hello,
I'm reading the courier docs and I'm trying to create a "fake" (not
connected to the internet), courier installation for my few computers at

I read that I should enter my "hostname" and "machine name" in certain
files but I'm uncertain as to weather or not that means my "fake" name or

Hello,
I've successfully run the tests of courier 0.75.0 up to the part where
the msg writes info into the ID and ENV files.
Strangely, id output no info into the ID file though sh wrote
"/root/.profile" Permission denied. The env command output many variables
all from /etc/profile, thought the

Hello,
I'm following the manual and I started courier and it's running properly
AFAIK (I checked system logs and top), and I su'ed into an account called
test. I entered the command:
perftest1 1000 "test-test-1 test-test-2 test-test-3 test-test-4"
I got a bunch of errors. I probably got this

I think that would be /etc/profile?

Hello,
I'm a gentoo user and I installed courier 0.75.0 and I am reading the
install docs and came to the part where it reads:
'Start the Courier mal server as root:
/usr/lib/courier/sbin/courier/start'
Since I figured that courier was installed in PATH I ran:
% courier start; echo $?
