What garlic is to food
be seen. I would suggest doing
this:
In /etc/courier/courierd, change the default delivery line to this:
DEFAULTDELIVERY=| /usr/lib/courier/bin/maildrop -w 90

Your right.
I don't think that using the xfilter is a screwy way to call the
deliverquota.
However, I do not have a courierd. Is this the MTA ?
I am using Postfix.
In Debian, my distro of choice, I have a imapd but no courierd.
Here is my
.
For the Postfix MTA with the localmailer the following line works:
mailbox_command = /usr/bin/maildrop | /usr/sbin/deliveryquota -w 90
$HOME/Maildir
This sends all the mail to maildrop and then to the delivery quota
program.

and libgdm3 from the Debian
UNSTABLE tree everything seems OK. Thanks for your help.

I was wondering if anyone has recently moved from the Postfix MTA to
Courier MTA as a local mailer on your IMAP server. I am moving away from
kernel
quotas into maildrop quotas. Since I am doing this, I am thinking that I
will just replace Postfix with Courier's MTA. Will I get any benefit from
Postfix insists on sending mail to /var/spool/mail. I can't convince it
otherwise
Sure it does when you are using this parameter.
mail_spool_directory = Maildir/
I deliver all mail to a 30GB RAID 5 partition which is called this:
virtual_mailbox_base = /var/imap/washcoll

else faced this problem? how can it be corrected. if more
information is needed, how can i get it. logs only show login failed
messages, but everything works fine once imapd is restarted.

You need to narrow the problem down.
Use courierauthtest it will give you a better idea where things are failing.

Mine works with any mail alias.
I don't remember where this is configured, but I did document it.
I will update this document further today.
