as far as targeting investors, I wouldn't stray too far away from the
community aspect. that's your value proposition. it's what sets you
apart from executive suites and the like. investors want to know why
YOUR idea is different and likely to be more successful than the next.

If you're targeting investors with one pitch and then planning on building
something else, you're going to create a LOT more problems for yourself
down the road.
Be honest and authentic. The right investors will want that pitch. Also,
don't forget that your prospective members
