Re: [Crash-utility] Maintenance of trace.c extension module
Hi Xu, That's good to hear. I see that you are already on the crash-utility mailing list. I tried to add your email address to this current rhel-7.6 bugzilla: Bug 1596549 - [RHEL-7.6][crash-trace-cmd] Failed to extend trace.so: "no commands registered: shared object unloaded" https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1596549 You cannot view it because it's marked private with with "Fujitsu" as a Partner. But if you could create a bugzilla.redhat.com account, I could add your name to the cc: list, and you could read it and post comments to it. Currently Daisuke Hatayama is aware of the bug, but he has not posted a final patch. In any case, you just have to go to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/createaccount.cgi and give it an email address. Perhaps then you could coordinate with Daisuke and take a look at the bugzilla? Thanks, Dave - Original Message - > Hello Dave, > > > I'm Fei Jie's colleague at FNST. When crash-7.1.7 is released, this patch will be seen in that version of trace.c. Until then, it can be pulled from the github repository. Re: [Crash-utility] maintenance of trace.c extension module
Hello Dave, Sorry for the delay. Kyle's following patchset looks good to me: [Crash-utility] [Crash-Utility] extensions/trace: Add support for multiple ftrace buffers https://www.redhat.com/archives/crash-utility/2016-August/msg0.html Hope you can push it in. I have updated http://people.redhat.com/anderson/extensions.html#TRACE to reflect your maintainership of the module. Note that the trace.c link on that web page is the crash-7.1.5 version.
