I have a problem with a site I'm working on when viewed in IE6 -

It's a 3 column layout with a central fluid width column. In IE7 and
Firefox my central column expands nicely filling the space between the
left and right columns but in IE6 there's
Hi
I seem to have fixed this by placing a margin-right: 0; on
#container-node and width: 100%, display: inline; and a margin-right:

Chris

Hi, I working on a three-column layout but having trouble
setting the color for the left and right columns. I have been
looking at several online tutorials and it appears that I'm
doing the CSS right, but the images aren't coming in for the
column backgrounds. When I put the background

positioniseverything so I think that bit can be sorted easily...

Hi Sue
Yeh that's the problem - I believe it's because I am not setting height on
#container (which I really don't want to do...)
At http://www.samatason.co.uk/clients/tc4/index.php I have the background on
the page - this works but causes the other problems I already mentioned
particularly in

And the css is at http://www.samatason.co.uk/clients/tc/css/tc.css
Also can I ask if it's best to create a separate external css file for every
page (to allow for the possible variations in page layout) or to keep to a
single site wide css file?
