[css-d] ie 5, 6 display issues

Hi! I'm new to the list. Thanks for the great resource :) The site I'm working on currently is www.montola.com. Both in IE 5 and 6, my pages load terribly slow, but I don't know if that's my computer, the browsers, or the way I designed the pages. Loads quickly in IE 7 and Firefox. Problems

Hello I've been using child selectors for CSS to work in both Firefox and IE. As IE7 uses the child selectors I want to stop using them. I've read about conditional comments but I'd rather not use them if I can. I'd prefer a hack free way of using css for cross browser compatibility and if
