-Caveat Lector- Blessings, Tsadowq, I indeed am interested in the Greek ELS that you have, because there are NO equivalents in Greek to some of the letters in the Hebrew. The Classical Greek script carries no exact equivalent for vav, tzade and kof. I checked my equivalents chart that I got in Israel, and they also concur with this assessment. So, if someone were to assign exact numerical equivalents, letter for letter, there would have to be some type of relaxing of the alphabets to come to an agreement on the assigning of numeric value. Of course all historical and exegetical aspects are harmonized throughout Old and New Testament. I do have Drosnin's book, and do agree that he stretches the use of the Biblical numerical values way out of proportion. I would be happy to carry on this discussion further, off CTRL. I personally use the mathematical phenomenas found within the Bible to show people that numerically, the Old and New Testament are the same book. Lastly, as far as ELS goes... My own experience shows that the Bible does in fact possess certain ELS "prophecies." But, again we make note of the fact that these "prophecies" always seem to come to our attention AFTER the fact. Take a look at Drosnin's Bible Code book. I believe that this book was written in the same fashion as was Richard Preston's "Hot Zone." Drosnin's false prophecies were popularized only to be shot down statistically. Because of Drosnin, many people truly believe that there is NO Bible code. The same may be said of Preston's drivel and how it adversely affected the work of Dr. Len Horowitz. As far as Aleisha's code, wellIt sounds alot so far like Drosnin's book. Many "I told you so's" after the fact. Drosnin nor Aleisha has offered a single example of where their "code" may be observed PRIOR to the event taking place. And this is, to me, as it should be. I do not believe that ELS can prophecy the future. I believe that it will only be used to show what has taken place. ELS, or ANY Bible code will never reveal something that is not manifestly written in the Word Itself; this I say, after many years of experience in this vein of numerical prophecy.
