-Caveat Lector- It would be interesting to see what would happen if one of them refused to go. It seems to me that he or she could argue that President Clinton's orders in regards to attacks upon Yugoslavia are un-Constitutional. Of course, there is the argument rguement that all US attacks since WW2 against foreign countries have been un-Constitutional based upon the fact that that was the last act of war done under a declaration of War voted by Congress. However, that is usually gotten around through some treaty or UN resolution. However, in this case, there is no treaty or UN resolution that I am aware of. Am I incorrect about this? -Caveat Lector- I'm sorry but this candle thing really burns my butt . First of all you are right , the Kosovo Crisis doesn't look good , for them or us . China and Russia have joined forces against this Iron Fisted Massacre and are NOT happy about the whole thing . Russia has publicly declared in it's own media and before the UN that they have no qualms against pulling out their nuclear arsenol if it does not stop. Considering that Russia really has nothing further to lose and that their only real commodities at this time are tanks and nuclear weapons I think it may be wise to heed this threat . Do you still support this power play , if it means your children will be among the troops to be sent in for slaughter by a very angry and well armed populace who simply don't want the NATO Police Force giving them ultimatums on how to run there own sovereign nation . How about if it sets off WW3 and the nukes start landing in your yard ? Is it it still a good idea then to get into the middle of another countries business which is not in any way harming another country , much less this one . You can rest assured that I will be praying for the safety of our soldiers as well as theirs , and even more for all the innocent people caught in the crossfire but the soldiers are most definitely not representing me or anything that I stand for and to support this strong armed atrocity hidden behind a hypocritical facade of humanitarian bunk because it's patriotic is just plain stupid . It is that kind of blind faith in the government , despite all reasonable facts proving otherwise that has put this country in the state that its in , where the Constitution is no more than a fading ideal that once was .
