Most religions are based on primative attempts at defining God. 20th century human beings shouldn't be basing their concepts of God on ancient interpretations. The Urantia Book was sent to clear up the religion based "myths" I am not saying that there is no truth in religion, because there is truth, but religion also contains much that isn't true. This is not a cult, it is a personal relationship with God..the Urantia Book is the scaffolding that helps to build this personal relationship. There are no leaders or churches. There have been a few study groups that have sprung up here and there. I choose to study the book on my own. As we go through life perfecting our personality through decisions and experiences, it is the Adjusters that is the guiding influence, or they try to be. We do not have to listen to their leadings. Human will is supreme. The Adjuster's goal is to spiritualize our thinking, to make our minds and personalities more "divine" so that they can better communicate with us. It is possible for the Adjuster to directly communicate with their human subjects when the person has reached a certain level of personality perfection.
