I updated "pkgtools/x11-links" to HEAD and now "fonts/fontconfig"
and "x11/libXft" can cope with -current

You need x11-links 1.11 (or higher)
Primarily to port-sparc@ as it's the plaform on which I see the problem,
but also to current-users@ as I only see it on 8.99.1[89] and pkgsrc-users@
