I found out that sometime during my reinstall process I lost something

Hi,
I've got a short c++ program that is apparently corrupting memory as
I get link errors trying to overwrite the old executable after running it
because someone thinks the file is still in use by a process I can no longer
find.
The program is not visible to cygwin ls and find complains

I sent a private reply to the user but, without looking at the code, some
compiler
options give up consistency for sake of speed. And, if you are really using
floating point as intended, and not doing something like making arthmetic
encoders, you should NEVER need to do a floating point
Send some disassembled code fragments- it should be pretty clear.
Or, you can probably cast and dump as hex/bin and see what is going on.

to update a working install. I keep trying to get cygiconv-2 to load by playing

the setup install options. I think I could make this work but sometimes
