The input of make install for mysql ends with the
following list:
/usr/bin/install: `bench-count-distinct' and
`/home/mysql-5.0.37/sql-bench/bench
-count-distinct' are the same file
make[3]: *** [install-benchSCRIPTS] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory
It gave errors is way too vague. You'll have to
describe exactly what you did and exactly what the
output was if you want help.
Ok:
1) cygwin is installed under C:\cygwin folde.
2) I unpacked mysql linux source to C:\cygwin\home.
3) I CD to the new folder
(C:\cygwin\home\mysql-5.0.37).
4)

I know some weeks back now, that there was a lot of discussion over
the possible removal of the -mno-cygwin flag. Could someone please
inform me as to whether the removal of this flag will be taking place
(or has)?
