Edwin Thomson recently submitted a bug report
(http://bugs.darcs.net/issue67) (Hi Edwin!). I fear the title of the bug
may be misleadingly light. We (Business Web Software) have an issue that
is giving us an apparently corrupt (and unusable) Darcs tree, and we
aren't sure that it isn't
The crash-on-windows is this bug:

Which is fixed in the latest release for Windows.
Please try to reproduce with the latest stable version (1.0.5 from
http://darcs.net/).
I would love to see Tortoise-darcs.
