Since it seems that there is a possibility that the "default"
behaviour of the export module changes depending on what
export formats are available to be compiled, can I suggest that
the default be set to "export to file" as this should always be

It's maybe related to a small bug in darktable :
In lightroom, at least for me, the last export module is not correctly
saved when you launch stable AND dev darktable
I always export to local file.
But actualy, stable version of darktable, enable picasse & dev version
of darktable enabled f

I have built 1.1.4 for x86_64 and I imported one picture, then from the
