[darktable-devel] Tag new now works

[darktable-devel] How do you create a new tag?

I use Darktable 1.2.2 and read http://www.darktable.org/usermanual/ch02s02s12.html.php. Pressing the New button does nothing. I cannot type into the box above New and there is no new text entry box opened up. The documentation page does not tell me what I should do before or after pressing New
