sounds reasonable and simple. should be a 2-3 liner exercise with
dt_conf_* and "plugins/darkroom/clipping/new_variable_here" along with
a declaration in data/darktableconfig.dtd.
just be warned that c&r is a minefield and every change to clipping.c
is traditionally producing at least 10 new
Each time you restart dt you need to set the guide in the clipping
module. I'm most of the time using the "third rules", I think it would
be nice to remember the last value from session to session.
If nobody is already working on this I'm proposing to do it. Should be
quite trivial.
