I think the module is in a state where it can be tested. It is far from
the final state but at least it looks like something and can be shown :)

thanks that did the trick for me. looks great! i have to click around in
the print prefs for a bit to make an image show up, and the thumbnail
interpolation on screen isn't very high quality. other than this usual
defaults/gui nitpicking it looks very nice so far!

But maybe not the first time as there is no printer selected I suppose.

I have a cups server configured in
/etc/cups/client.conf
not sure if that could cause this freeze.
Currently that CUPS Server is not reachable, so none of the about 100
printers is available. Other programs using the normal Gnome print
dialog seem to cope fine with this, and it only
