Hi Pascal,
I have a cups server configured in
/etc/cups/client.conf
not sure if that could cause this freeze.
Currently that CUPS Server is not reachable, so none of the about 100
printers is available. Other programs using the normal Gnome print
dialog seem to cope fine with this, and it only shows the PDF printer.
