I generated a noise profile for the Olympus OM-D E-M1 but it shows
artifacts even at low noise levels. Is it possible that dt isn't
supporting the new RAW format of the E-M1 completely?
What do you think?

Is it possible that darktable could use the newest Libraw 16.1 Beta in
version 1.4? The latest version contains camera support for the Olympus
E-M1 as well as many others and these cameras are note well supported in
the existing RC1 version of 1.4.

noise at any ISO. Bilateral takes forever and I have a
very fast machine, and eliminates so much detail its not worth doing.
Net: dt sometimes reads E-M1 files, and when it does it works well
except when there is noise. Then not so well.
That's why I ask.

When editing Olympus E-M1 RAW files in dt 1.4rc, the white balance
presets are missing. They are present for the E-M5, but perhaps need to
be replicated for the E-M1.

If you apply a blend operation to spot removal, the blend effects the
entire picture. What would be better is if the blend could effect just
the spot. Another option would be to treat the spots as masks so that
one could touch them up with other modules. I often want to remove

I have the latest dt 1.6.2 and all of my Olympus E-M1 lenses default to
thoby-fisheye in the lens correction module. they should be
rectilinear. How does one change this default?

I've noticed that photos created in LightRoom when uploaded to FaceBook
automatically pull copyright information embedded in the EXIF info into the
comments. Despite putting information in all of the EXIF areas when
exporting a JPG, I have been unable to replicate this using Darktable.

Just finished editing a family shot from Halloween and noticed the little

little touches like that. Keep up the awesome work, guys!

Hello Everyone!
I was wanting to create/test/submit a noise profile for my camera - the
Canon Rebel T3 (EOS 1100D). I read through the "howto" and couldn't find
the scripts - then read through the comments and learned I needed the GIT
version of DT. I asked in the IRC channel and was told to just
All,
When I open an image into the darkroom, I do not have the option of
choosing anything in the noise profile module. Any thoughts? Canon Rebel T3
