Just compiled it and no issue whatsoever with the aforementioned bug 3249.
I use Debian Duster with OpenCL and a Nvidia GTX 970 with Nvidia driver
430.40 and I did the test w/ and w/o OpenCL and w/ and w/o denoise profiled.

Hi,
When changing the filter in lighttable, the displayed image changes: the
focus stays on the same position in the collection, not on the same image
(this image is still in the new collection). It then take time to find and
go back to this previous image.
Example with a 100 images collection
