Hi All, Kovacs was right. I found a style named Standard which had among other modules, the crop and rotate module. So I deleted it and exported again and achieved the expected results, I am deliriously happy.  Thank you Kovacs. I still have no idea how I had a "Standard" style in place.

I had similar (but not exact) issue before. It happen when I deleted images from DT and re imported after moving them to a different location (at the time I didn't know that I can simply point the images to the new location). The behavior was - what Light-table presented for some images did
