Hi Laurent,
Press Z (and wait for a moment) to see a full screen preview in lighttable.
You can use arrow keys to navigate and add stars using numbers while the
preview is displayed. Ctrl + Z also shows focus.

I'm using windows 2.4.1 on a dell laptop with dell wireless mouse and have
no problems using the centre scroll wheel in library or develop modules.

I am having the same issue with trackpads on both MacOS and Linux -- the
light table has become nearly unusable, some darkroom modules wholly so. I
filed a bug on Redmine last month against the first manifestation of it
that I noticed (https://redmine.darktable.org/issues/11974).

I use logitech wireless mouse on mac. No any kind of problems. So it can
not be bug in software.
