My DT has always been working with no problems, but today when I tried
importing photos, the moment I mouse over an image, DT closes. I ran DT via
the command line and here was the error I got:
Could not attach to process. If your uid matches the uid of the target
process, check the setting
It's ok, I think it was an error in the files itself, and not DT.

The profiled noise reductions used as describe in the manual seems to give the
best results.

worse when I export the picture in jpg, the result is very
I have just found something which works quite fine for me, even if the
sky is fully blown out during processing:
- Process for the dark regions of your image
- Activate the module "tonemapping"
- Set contrast compression to 1,0 and use blendif to limit the effect of
the module to the bright parts
Enable high quality resampling in the core options. This will make your
export incredible slow but the denoising results are the same as in the
darkroom.

I'm using Magic Lantern to do RAW HDR video, and basically the camera takes
the video in RAW format and you extract the individual frames as DNG files.
When I import them into DT (actually I just import one frame to edit and
then call darktable-cli to export everything), there is no option to
