With all the different versions of the Oracle Client out there you will have to compile DBD::Oracle for the client you want to use so a PPM may not work anyway. You best bet is to get the source then compile and install it to the client you are using. cheers John Scoles - Original Message

Having said that it's down, I do have a copy of DBD-Oracle-1.13-5.8.tar.gz for ActiveState Perl dist 5.8.0.806. This won't work with the version for 5.8.2.808 which is the lateset once on the ActiveState web site (tried it, got the DLL error). So, if you need the earlier version, I have it and
