I voted for the original proposal, if only in an attempt at some form
of democracy, and I think at this point we can all say it's not
working. I am sure we all had high hopes of getting DBIC into a place
where it had regular patches from a wide variety of contributors, but
for better or worse

I vote +1 in favor of DBIx::Class namespace firstcome rights and full control
being turned over to Peter Rabbitson. Right now that seems the best available
path to a good outcome for DBIC. -- Darren Duncan

They look like they match every time I look. Now that maybe you have more
coffee, if you still think they don't match, please explain how. --

All I will add is the I really hope Ribashushi takes to heart both the fact
that we appreciate his hard work on this project for many years, but that he
also temper that with the fact that is already known, which is that aspects of
the way the community was working (or really failing) drove

I have questions, before I vote:
- Is there an official response from Peter Rabbitson regarding this
proposal?
- Is there an official response from the current comaint-bit holders (FREW,
ILMARI, JROBINSON, MSTROUT)?
- What would the upcoming development plans be if this vote failed? If

I already voted, so yes on (some of?) your second question. Re the
first question, I'll let riba speak for himself.
As for the final question: if this passes, ribasushi will be able to
release, merge, etc at will. If someone would like to do the former
resolution first I suspect we could, but I
I agree. Since the current running vote results are strongly in favor of
dropping the rationale for voting, I'd say this one has no time limits but that
we still have the 3 days as a minimum. -- Darren Duncan

Per the process, the proposal has now been turned to a vote.

I often use DBIC for private and corporate projects and would love
to see development resume.
I've talked to ribasushi once and think he's capable and willing
to realize actual improvements.
Therefor, I vote +1.
