Since now I'm 2.3.6 (git head), IMAP has a different behavior now. When I don't check or do something in the IMAP account, IMAPD disconnects it! In the bottom there's the dbmail+outlook message. Thing is, how can I prevent this from happen and return to the, let's say, normal (old) behavior?

I seriously doubt this will 'kill' your system, even for very large mailboxes. I use this routinely on mailboxes 5000 messages and it only causes a minor delay when I first select the mailbox. And that's using a very old 1.6GHz dual-xeon with 512mb ram. Just for the record, I have in mmy

People, I'd like to know, if someone has a bigger account than me. The heaviest imap accounts are from me and 2 colleagues. Mine has 3.99GB, and the next has 2.54GB. Does anyone has a bigger one? Just 'd like to know :) PS: I don't have any performance problem or so, I'm just curious.

What gives you that idea? The zdb debian packages install the libzdb includes in /usr/include/zdb. To build dbmail you don't need to specify --with-zdb since if you configure dbmail --prefix=/usr. If you use a different prefix (i.e. /usr/local is standard when you don't specify a --prefix)
