the ia64 version appears to define or use it how I used it there.
Thanks for actually testing this and sending a fixed patch!
Cheers,
Ron
but after applying Ron's patch, I
get a symlink like the following in my netboot tarball:
ldlinux.c32 -
debian-installer/amd64/debian-installer/amd64/boot
and didn't get to that myself), but I know that what it was _intended_
to do really works, so if it's been tested now, getting it into the
dailies for wider testing seems like a good plan.
Cheers,
Ron

Subject: [PATCH] Fix lib location and search path for syslinux = 5
The changes in b03b133efece84a1f81e41385200ef26e8287cfd were
it with the wheezy installer.
Please consider adding this to virtio-modules for the wheezy
branch to complete this (very welcome!) backport.
Thanks!

conclude that the bug is not with the installer, but rather with one
of the packages in the tasks, probably in the laptop task, that is
loaded with the HD boot. Thank you for letting me describe my problem. I
have learned something, and will learn more by the time I have Icedove
running.
Ron
why should it only have one boot loader?

I would file a bug report if I knew where to file it, and against what (what
product desciption) to file it.
If you would be kind enough to enlighten me I will do so.

my slow-slow link.
Anyway the problem is still there, it fails to find the packages I've
already downloaded. I've tried putting them in /archive/debian/local,
/archive/debian/Incoming, and /archive/debian/download/cache/archives.
Any ideas?

Basically the same error, but in a different place (I'm guessing this is
the error for the second of the four kernel images). Any ideas?
