The machine i used for testing (IBM B50) doesn't have USB, at least
there is no USB connector at the chassis.

it appears to hang just after password entry. The password-entry field
is grayed out and the screen stops responding to input, but does not

This bug is caused by the ongoing libmysqlclient12 -> libmysqlclient14
transition. As it stands, libmysql-ruby1.8, php4-mysql, and php5-mysql
