aterm as an orphaned package. I use gnome-terminal as my daily terminal
to work but when GNOME is not installed I prefer to use aterm, so I've
interest to maintain that package.

Actually, there's a reason for (at least) libice6 to keep a dependency:
/etc/init.d/x11-common sets up the /tmp/.ICE-unix directory.

it still renders wrong in iceweasel_3.0~b5-4 but only with the ATI
fglrx display drivers (including current), not in the radeon driver
series.
The issue is resolved though in Minefield 2008051204 (inclduing fglrx)
