using rhythmbox “DAAP Sharing” feature over avahi, I noticed a weird thing.
If I configure avahi to only use IPv6 (in /etc/avahi-daemon.conf), DAAP shares
are correctly published on IPv6, but other rhythmbox are unable to see them. I
I had the same problem on xubuntu hardy, using gdm as my display manager.
The solution was to explicitly set my default session type to Xfce in the
gdm screen, and log in again.

1.6.3 (I was using checksumming), then 1.6.3 didn't work with checksumming, so I
