Hi, after re-checking, I found that with fsck from 3.0.7-1 the error
message indicated that fsck exited with exit status 6.
Downgrading to dosfstools 3.0.6-1 restored the working behaviour of the
boot process proceeding when the media was absent.

Arthur.

Hi Joost,
I was wondering whether you could detail your setup. I tried the
following and it didn't work:
- Download the Ocaml source
- Do ./configure -cc gcc -fPIC
- Build Ocaml
- Try to compile a shared library which links to the new libasmrun.a
I still get the relocations error.

Is there an easy way to see what is actually in the initrd.img?
You can either extract it (it's a gzipped cipo archive) or try to
create it with -v (update-initramfs -v) to see verbose info on what's
included.
Cheers,
Chris.
