After a fresh installation from sid, I do not witness this bug. The
(probably innocuous) hashlib warning shows up but the game starts
fine.
When did this show up ? Is the bug triggered some time after the game
is started or just as the beginning ?

for me this one is a wontfix because smime_keys is correctly reporting
the error, unless the certificate is self-signed you will need to
include the root certificate in the p12, I believe there should be some
option in the apple keychain application
