If this can help, I also managed to reproduce the bug by:
1) launch a new session by "emacs" => OK
2) launch from it a server by "M-x server-start" => OK
3) launch new clients by "emacsclient -c" => OK
4) close all the emacs frames but one => OK
5) close the last open frame => emacs freez
