Actually, I guess texlive-base already depends on tex-common, so that
suggestion would create a dependency loop.
However, even with a loop, I think they'll both be unpacked before
either is configured, so that might be enough.

I've been looking into how to fix this problem. I couldn't find a

What about moving the configuration to a arch: all package and depend
on it from the arch: any packages?

I was doing a gpg --refresh and stopped it with control-C. When I
then tried to restart it, I got:
$ gpg --refresh

After less than 5 additional hours, kded4 is using 1000.5 MiB, and
