I don't use git-daemon; I use https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/klaus (and
ssh).
I found this bug because src:git is one of the most popular packages to have a
"missing" systemd unit.
I tested something similar to what Andreas suggested, but it did not work for
me.

blocker. It's still uninstallable in unstable because of the zbus-transition;

I can confirm that this is a annoyance for Clang users on bookworm. It
is necessary to compile programs with the rather uncommon compiler
option -dgwarf-4 to be able to use valgrind.
