I confirm that running the latest DRM allows the driver to use EXA and
everything works fine.
Also the content of /proc/mtrr is the one that is supposed to be.

I have the same problem of the guy who opened the bug.
I also did 'rm -rf ~/.xine' but it still doesn't work
I use amarok with the xine engine and when i start it it says:
"The xine-engine claims it cannot play MP3 files."
and by the way it doesn't play anymore m4a files too.

Package: amarok
Version: 1.3.1-2
Severity: normal
I wanted to use for OSD the font "Bitstream Vera Sans" with a size of
14px. Going back to the menu the font was switched to
9px. I tried also another font.
AFAIR this bug wasn't present in the 1.2.3 version.

Yeah i have set the dpi to '100' in kdmrc and now it looks as without kdm.
You can safely close this bug report.
thanks for the support!
Package: kdm
Version: 3.4.1-1
Severity: normal
After installing kdm the fonts in kde are rendered smaller even if the
size declared in the Control Center has not been changed.
It seems that KDM overrides the whole KDE fonts settings, because after
purging the kdm package everythings gets normal.
Well it's really weird, but after i received your reply this morning i
did a 'apt-get dist-upgrade' just to upgrade libgtk2.0-0 to 2.6.2-4
and from that moment i had no freeze in nicotine. In the latest days
it used to freeze as soon as it got connected to the slsk server.
You can safely close this
Package: nicotine
Version: 1.0.8rc1-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Nicotine Hangs with libgtk2.0-0 2.6.2-4.
Downgrading to 2.6.2-3 solves the problem.
I don't know if this bug belongs to nicotine or gtk, so feel free to
reassign it.

yeah it works without problems... i just noticed that in order to

smb4k can't browse anymore winXP shares, when trying to do it, it asks

Downgrading to the version in testing (0.4.1a-1) solves the problem.
Also komba2 hasn't got this problem.
