In order to get the PC usable, I have tried to disable the part of the

You were right, the -eMMC boots find, one just needs to:

Booting the device works fine in both cases, and i did not encounter any
error as of yet.
I wonder if flash-kernel will take care of updated the dtb in /boot upon

I found these options in the man page.
They have no effect when I boot my CD. If I execute
dpkg-reconfigure -f noninteractive console-tools
my keyboard is working. I additionally booted a stock live CDs using the above
params -
without success either. So I think it's a bug.

I think this is not a bug.
The Command Syntax section of the pdksh manual says
