For some reason module-udev-detect is not found. Did you reboot after

main issue is precisely that we have no way of
knowing if this patch would break things or not. Given the centrality of
this package, it makes for a slow patch inclusion process. Additionally,
I'm not very proficient in perl, which is the primary language here.
What could be very helpful is to actually have some CI that would give me
(some) certainty a given patch does not break anything. Would it be
possible to move (some) of that CI you mention into this repo?

assume post-debhelper-block the new version is already running. So I
believe what would be needed is:
1. Support in i-s-h to activate this mode, probably via a new flag.
2. Support in debhelper to enable/disable this new method.
3. A trigger in systemd to do the final reload.
I believe requiring the new daemon version to be already updated by
postinst time would be quite rare, so I think point 2 could be enabled by
default in a new compat level.

Also, please attach the output of `pactl list` both when the interface is
working and when it isn't.

The idea was to let systemctl/systemd order the jobs in whatever way it saw
fit, according to the ordering requirements of the units. If there is a bug
somewhere, it is either in systemd, or in rpcbind where an ordering
requirement is missing.
Does the problem persist if you add After=rpcbind.socket to rpcbind.service?

Hi,
lintian-brush complains repository is dirty, but repo is clean:

I have posted a MR on salsa eliding the check if the

Hi,
--overwrite does not trust debian/changelog. If debian/changelog says it
contains version 1.2.3-1, then dgit should trust it and do the fake
merge if required.
Or maybe rephrase this as a question: why doesn't dgit consider the
debian/changelog

Hi,
Today, gnome-shell crashed with the following backtrace. I was not at
the computer at the time of the crash.

he order: disable autospawn by default, and have non-systemd run
something to enable it.
Honestly, I'm a bit annoyed about all this rushing. This behaviour has been
present since 2017, and all of a sudden this is unacceptable and needs to
be fixed less than a month before release.

making a PR?
I think PRs are best for changes that require input from others.
Unfortunately, they are not very good for the upstream/pristine-tar/master
trio needed for a new upstream update. So I think upstream updates should
go directly to master.
I think most teams push directly to master. After a
