, as a user of the guile interface? Moving
the .so files seems wrong (policy and convenience-wise) so I would either
Suggest: the -dev package, or document this in README.Debian. I'm open
to ideas.

A or B would be consistent and logical. The status quo is not.
But I'd always be happy to get rid of Firefox :)

Hi Thomas,
I was about to test the new GTK2 gnucash, and when apt-get'ing I noticed
libgtk1.2 and its friends being downloaded.
gnucash has a leftover hardcoded dependency on libgconf1, which can
safely be removed now.
Also, I
claimed to be fixed.
2) isn't, AFAIK, but now its a lot less noticable, of course.
3) is pretty closely related to 2), isn't it?
4) is a nice wishlist
5) is totally correct

Package: libpopt0

libpopt0 installs the zh_CN translation as zh_CN.GB2312. This is
completely unneeded, as the simpler zh_CN locale already defaults to
this encoding.
In my system, this is the only package installing a mo file in such
directory. Please move it to

Thanks for the notice. It'll be fixed in the next upload.
