The kernel module has been tested only on Inspiron 8000 laptops but it
should work on any Inspiron and Latitude laptops.

I found the same problem described in bug #137059. If I have a calendar
entry containing the word 'linux' (or 'unix') calendar translates it to
'1', for example:
$ cat ~/.calendar
Oct 25 italian linux day
$ calendar -f ~/.calendar
The dpkg cgi program works fine with apache or apache2 and I can't find

I see that you are using boa as http server. After installing boa and
testing the script again I discovered that the redundant conversion
is done by the boa http

Unfortunately the gnome_swallow applet doesn't have a configurable swallow
timeout option so the only way to solve the problem is to add a killall
gnome_swallow button to the panel and restarting it by hand.

The attached test program 'fork.tcl' hangs forever at the wait call when
using tclsh8.4, whereas it returns after a
short time as expected when using tclsh8.3.

Modern laptops should use a kernel compiled for 686. The net-install
kernel should be used only for the installation. Anyway I will add
a dependency.

Another problem I found is that the plugin tries to use esound only if the

with the -tcp option, in which case the socket is not created.
