I suffer the same problem while running RAID1 with kernel 4.18.10-2. I have
found a hint in the Debian kernel mailing list, however, I havent tested
it yet: ...Someone else suggested this might be related to using
blk-mq, so could you try with these parameter: dm_mod.use_blk_mq=0
I confirm the bug.
I have a laptop and usually I use WLAN instead of cable connection. In such a
case booting process stops for a few minutes with a statment "ifup: waiting for
lock on /run/network/interfaces/ifstate.eth0".

I tried to set up dnsmasq to handle cache queries. The only changes to
