to be fixed (if anything gcc 4.0 seems to be worse than 3.x on m68k).

This package has been dead upstream for over 2 years. It links against
obsolete libraries (GNOME 1.x and FreeType 1.x) and needs work to update to
recent versions.
Should be considered for removal if not adopted soon.

deprecated FreeType 1.x (libttf2). Removing the configure switch and
build deps should do this without losing any functionality.
