debian/rules includes two non-POSIX bashisms;
use of {} wildcards
and "echo -e"
without declaring the use of bash. This is trivially fixed by
the patch below.

Package: gfortran-4.0
Version: 4.0.1-2
Severity: normal
I recognise that this is partly a matter of taste; but I would
much prefer that gfortran *not* provide a convenience alias
to f95. I recognise that it is under my control via
update-alternatives; however:
Prior to the release of gfortran, a
Package: wdm
Version: 1.28-1
Severity: minor
The two files:
/usr/share/doc/wdm/changelog.gz
/usr/share/doc/wdm/ChangeLog.gz
have identical contents (though they are slightly
different in their gzipped form)
This is an (albeit extremely minor!) waste of 12kB
of my diskspace.

The manpage for meld reads:

Package: etktab
Version: 3.2-1
Severity: wishlist
The homepage of etktab (http://etktab.sourceforge.net/) provides
additional keyboard maps for UK, Canadian and Dvorak keyboards.
It would be useful if these could be added to the etktab package
for those of us with such keyboards.
