1. Transparency as in degree of transparency, indicating how transparent a
layer is. In Chinese this is translated and is the current translation.

the zh_TW translation. Are you sure it's just not translated incorrectly
in the one place?

Sorry to not have checked the zh_CN translation.
You are right. I checked the actual po file and the only two places that uses
the string Transparency are in core-enums.c and in preferences-dialog.c. Both
refers to being filled with transparency and not transparency of a layer.
So it does
