No, it's not in the bash package anymore on any architecture. It moved
to bash-completion.
Why no? It was in
Package: bash
Version: 3.1dfsg-9
Followup-For: Bug #466140
It's not in the current i686 version either:
% ls -l /etc/bash_completion
ls: cannot access /etc/bash_completion: No such file or directory
% dpkg -c /var/cache/apt/archives/bash_3.1dfsg-9_i386.deb | grep complet ;
echo
Package: bash
Version: 3.1dfsg-9
Severity: important
Hi,
The file /etc/bash_completion is missing from bash_3.1dfsg-9_alpha.deb
while it is present in bash_3.1dfsg-9_sparc.deb and others for
instance.
Please consider fixing this, thanks.
Cheers,
