However, with 2.22.1.1-1 the current behaviour is like this:
- Start the application: Homepage is loaded, URL bar remains empty.
- Open new window (Ctrl-N): Homepage is loaded, URL bar contains
homepage URL.
- Open new tab (Ctrl-T):

I don't have a new tab button, except in the menu; I use control-T to
