Hi Peter,
I sent you a follow-up message about this bug a few weeks back, but
forgot to copy you into the mail!
Did you ever manage to get Gramps 3.4.0 installed? Can you still
reproduce this error?
If you are still having the problem, we could try
tag 680690 + unreproducible moreinfo
thanks
Hi Peter,
I have been unable to reproduce this bug on my Squeeze machine (Gramps
3.2.3-4). Did you manage to upgrade to Wheezy and Gramps 3.4.0? Did that
fix the problem?

Too bad, this for all practical purposes means that I have to wait that
wheezy becomes the new stable - an estimated 9 month wait.
I don't see compilation as an option. If apt cannot solve the
dependencies, then I guess I will not be able to solve those problems
manually.

I am running squeeze (Debian stable 6.0.5). I tried to follow your
recommendation by using apt-pinning to install gramps 3.4.0-1, the
current version in testing (wheezy). Apt failed after about one hour of
trying to resolve dependencies, with this final output:

Gramps crashes repeatedly when I try to save one particluar family record.
Computer restart to clean the memory doesn't help - still crashes at the
same location. This is the traceback that I got:
