Regularly my computer is getting slow and when I bring up top, packagekitd is
always the
process eating all the memory:
$ ps aux | grep packagekitd

Dear Maintainer,
after updating to packagekit 0.8.17-1 the packagekitd process never
finishes and runs indefinitely taking all CPU and memory unless killed.
Deactivating the periodic search for updates in apper I achieved that
the process is
