Is there even a pak0.pak file in Juggernaut or does it
seems my previously mail arrives later..
i tested the package in debian with debian sid installation (to make
more confortable to bugs re1uest)
when i donload the JUG mod (quake 2 juggernaut) and try to load as u'r
suggested way simon, fail to load
now either using quake2 or directly the binary

Indeed, they have merged the patch that we had formerly applied to the
Debian package.

as already suggested on Github, would you agree

If you make sure to test it with both the demo and the full game, and
look at the game's debug output to
Hi Simon,
I agree with your perception that the changes I introduced may be
problematic if one is going to change the game's basedir. However, I
only found this out after I uploaded the package and got Piccoro's (?)
confirmation that the game now works as expected.

Hi again,
I have just uploaded a new yamagi-quake2 package to Debian. Would you
please test it and tell me if it is possible to load your mod from a
user writable directory with this?
Thanks,
Fabian

i tag grave due i cannot load as
Hi again,
does it work if you start the game by "/usr/lib/yamagi-quake2/quake2
+set game /path/to/doom2", if /path/to/doom2 is replaced with the
actual path to the location of the Doom 2 mod e.g. in your $HOME
directory? And by "does it work" I mean the current Debian package, not
the binary
Control: severity -1 minor

there is a policy regarding bug severities:
https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Developer#severities
This does not even remotely justify for a release-critical severity.

Package: yamagi-quake2
Version: 5.30~dfsg1-1
Severity: grave
debian oficial yquake set base directory to binary installed engine
at /usr/lib/yamagi-quake2/ but last 5.30 release already set that
as changelog describes..
so i think this cause a problem, with debian package 5.21 or my
own build of
