Hello ZFS team,

Upstream has released the preview version 0.8.0-rc1 several days ago.
And it must be pointed out that, upstream is going to merge the source
of spl and zfs together. See

  1. https://github.com/zfsonlinux/zfs/releases/tag/zfs-0.8.0-rc1
  2.
https://github.com/zfsonlinux/spl/commit/5712fadef19a28d27038b04f8267f29109794fc3

That means src:spl-linux will nolonger exist since ZFS 0.8.x, and we'll
have to move all binary packages of src:spl-linux to src:zfs-linux.
As a consequence the ZFS package has to go through NEW queue again.

And as pointed out by Aron, mixing the source of GPL-licensed SPL and
CDDL-licensed ZFS would be "interesting". I haven't investigated into
this yet.

I'm recently working on the 0.7.11 update for the compatibility with
linux 4.18, and would be happy to try to push 0.8.0-rc1 to experimental after
finishing the 0.7.11 work. So I wonder which version of zfs should Buster
ship with? Is it 0.7.x or the upcoming 0.8.x?
